ITV Looks For 1996 Football Sponsor
ITV have revealed the sponsorship package for the 1996 European Football Championship (Euro 96) which takes place from 8th June to 30th June, 1996.
Euro 96 is being supported by eleven official sponsors: Canon; Carlsberg; Coca Cola; Snickers; FujiFilm; JVC; MasterCard; Umbro; McDonalds; Vauxhall/Opel and Philips.
The championship includes a total of 31 matches and it is presently planned that 15 of these will be shown live on ITV. The total coverage of Euro 96 on ITV will run to over 50 hours.
The broadcast sponsor for the event will benefit from opening and closing sponsorship credits and break bumpers for each match, plus all back up programmes and trailers. Sponsorship credits will also appear on the first transmission on Sunday 17th December when the draw takes place.
