According to Rajar Quarter 3 the most improved year on year performance amongst London Commercial radio stations came from Kiss 100 FM, with a weekly reach up 201,000 to 1,016,000 listeners – the station’s weekly share rose by 2% to 10% of adults 15+

Capital Radio’s FM and AM partnership maintained their positions as most listened to stations with weekly reach figures of 31% (Capital 95.8 FM) and 15% (Capital Gold 1548 AM). In terms of market share the combined stations achieved a 24.9% share amongst adults 15+ in the London area.

By far the worst performance this quarter came from Spectrum International which saw a fall of 116,000 in its weekly reach figures to 115,000. Its share of listening amongst the London audience has fallen to 0.2%.

Two stations reporting a Rajar figure for the first time – Premier and Viva! 963am – have achieved mixed results. Premier, the christian radio station, achieved a market share of 0.4%, with 210,000 weekly reach amongst adults 15+; whilst Viva!963am’s market share was only 0.2%, with a weekly reach of 1%.
