The Periodical Publishers Association has this week launched a site on the Internet. Magazines.net UK, includes details about the PPA’s role, statistics and a directory of links to members’ sites.

The Magazine Infofile contains a selection of statistics from the PPA Magazine Handbook, including market growth, circulations and advertising revenue. Starting a Magazine offers advice to would-be publishers and Magazines on the Net is a directory of links to UK magazines on the Internet, who are PPA members. As with most sites it appears to still be under construction as several of the links are not set up and images are missing.

Magazines.net UK is being co-ordinated by FIPP, the international body representing magazine publishers, and is part of a project to create a directory of international links to other publishing associations.
