According to the FA Premier League, Sky TV is the favourite for football coverage among football fans. The results come from a nationwide survey carried out for the FA Premier League by the Sir Norman Chester Centre for Football Research.
47.7% of fans believe that Sky TV’s football coverage is excellent; 37.8% think that of Radio 5 Live, 26.4% think that of local radio and just 22.3% for BBC TV. 31.8% of fans use Sky TV as the most important source of information/coverage of the Premier League. This compares to 26.1% for BBC TV, 23.4% for Radio 5 Live and 18.7% for local radio.
Results are based on a sample of 15,170 fans drawn on a representative basis from all Premier League clubs.
