AdRail Interactive
Vauxhall Motors, Thomas Cook Nationwide Building Society and Churchill Insurance are the first advertisers to go on line with BTA’s new AdRail Interactive information points.
AdRail are the first on line advertising opportunities in the outdoor medium and go live next week (29 May 1995). Each information point has touch screens and features sound, graphics and video. A freefone telephone handset allows the user to communicate directly with an advertiser for further information.
BTA has joined forces with computing Bell and Watson to develop interactive information points which will be tested on concourses at London Waterloo, London Victoria, Richmond and Birmingham New Street. The information will be updated via a modem link to a central control.
