The IAB has created a best practice guide for advertisers in a bid to highlight the potential of mobile marketing.

The new site provides templates for running mobile ad campaigns and displays all the latest mobile technology so that advertisers can see what is available to them.

It also features a dedicated mobile section for advertisers and agencies wanting to know more about how effective the medium is, a live news feed, detailed reports of visitors and their session information and events booking.

Incentivated has designed the site to be compatible with all handsets.

The IAB’s head of mobile, Jon Mew, said: “Adoption of mobile media amongst marketers is steadily increasing, however it’s important for the IAB to keep teaching businesses the basics to ensure that they’re adhering to best practice from the outset.

“We’ve launched this site to show brands how it should be done, whilst educating the market about the wealth of opportunity available within mobile media.”
