QVC Will Remain In Multi-Channels Package

QVC, the home shopping channel, has confirmed that it has no intentions of withdrawing from the Sky Multi-Channels package. This denial follows recent speculation that it would withdraw from the multi-channels package. There has been a lot of publicity regarding heavy UK losses for QVC.

However, Mark Suckle, CEO of QVC said “We’re quite happy with our position as one of the Sky Multi-Channel services.” QVC is claiming record sales for the fourth quarter of 1994; an 80% increase in sales over the previous quarter. In October to December QVC took over 650,000 calls and shipped 400,000 packages.
