Cinema Admissions – February

The latest cinema admission figures from the Cinema Advertising Association show February’s average weekly admissions to be 2.48 million. This is an increase of 13.2% on January’s figures, but down 22.7% on last February. This large decrease year on year can be attributed to the success of Mrs Doubtfire, out last February.

Total admissions for February were 9,904,657; last year’s admission total for February was 12,812,410. The Moving Annual Total is up 6.8% on last year
