Radio And Business Mags Revenue – Equal Growth
A report from the Periodical Publisher’s Association says the business magazine sector and independent radio are both at the top of revenue growth, and will continue to be so for 1995 and for the whole of 1996, according to the AA.
MMS figures show that five of the leading six sectors in the business to business magazines sector experienced growth in advertising revenue last year; overall percentage growth in these top 6 markets for 1994 was 14.6%. The medical sector was up 11.1%, the computing sector up 17.2%, the farming sector up 12% and building up 5.8%. The financial services sector was up a massive 45.3%.
According to Advertising Association predictions, overall growth will keep business magazines in first or second place for the rest of 1995 and 1996.
