Best In First Factual Sponsorship
Best, the women’s weekly published by Gruner & Jahr, is to sponsor the second series of ITV’s Special Babies. This is the first sponsorship of a factual series on the ITV Network. The first series of Special Babies averaged an audience of over 9 million.
Best will also be running weekly features during the series, covering the issues and stories covered in each programme. Best is published every Tuesday, the day of broadcast of Special Babies, which begins on Tuesday 11 July at 20:30 and runs for 8 weeks. Opening and closing sponsorship credits are integrated with the titles and feature a nurse enjoying a cup of tea and a magazine, before stepping back into the ward. The credits end with the line, “Best Magazine caring for special babies”. Best’s latest readership figure, for November to April 1995, is 2.207 million.
