Polaroid – Sponsor Of MTV

Polaroid has signed a sponsorship and advertising deal with MTV Europe to sponsor MTV’s ‘The Pulse’ from now for a 12 month period, and has also committed an advertising campaign to the channel for the first time. The ad campaign will run initially for 6 weeks with 30, 40 and 60 second commercials. A second and third burst is scheduled for autumn ’95 and ’96.

Allan Verch of the Polaroid Corporation said, “We are very pleased to be forming a new association with MTV… the campaign is young and hip and well suited to MTV’s young adult audience.”

The Pulse is broadcast seven times a month throughout Europe; the magazine format show covers fashion, lifestyles and items on art.

Polaroid last year sponsored Channel 4’s Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush.
