Magazine publisher Haymarket has bought the Motor Sport group of magazines for around £8m. Motoring News and Motorsport now join Haymarket’s other motoring publications which include Autocar, Autosport and What Car.
Haymarket are believed to have fought off bids from rival publishers such as IPC and Emap. When asked if the acquired titles would change at all a Haymarket spokesman would only say that the magazines would be looked at in “an extremely active way.”
