New Sections For Times And Guardian

The Times is launching a new 52 page entertainment supplement this Saturday entitled The Directory. The supplement stiffens the competition between rival newspapers, such as the Independent Gets New Look Section Two , New Sections For Express And Mail and New Sections For Express And Mail which have recently been revamped. The Sun newspaper is also launching a 48 page colour televsion magazine in its Saturday issue.

The Guardian is adding a 20 page weekly pull out giving advice to students. The supplement is launched inside the education section on Tuesdays.

…Newspapers could face new controls if certain issues on privacy are not adhered to. Following the recent publication of fake photographs of Princess Diana, the Press Complaints Commission may introduce more constraints on the material the press are allowed to publish.
