It has been confirmed that the regional titles Bolton Metro News and the Sale and Altrincham Express Advertiser are set to close next month. The Sale and Altrincham Express will close at the end of November and the Bolton Metro News will close on November 15. Both titles belong to the Guardian Media Group.
The Southern Daily Echo has been revamped and will relaunch on Monday. According to sources the title will cover more regional news and will have more features. The title covers the Southampton area and belongs to the Southern Newspapers group.
