YTTV And Granada Issue Writs Against CIA

Yorkshire-Tyne Tees Television and Granada Media are to issue writs against CIA Group for money they believe is owed to Laser sales. Following an independent audit of transactions between CIA and Laser by accountants KPMG has suggested that YTTV is owed about £800,000 and Granada £200,000.

CIA deny that any money is owed but both sides have failed to reach a compromise in a dispute that has been going on for months. CIA clients are expected to receive letters soon informing them that Laser will be withdrawing credit lines and recognition from CIA.
