The Guardian enters its first sponsorship deal when it supports Channel 4’s Film on Four Premiere Season this Autumn. A spokesperson from Guardian Newspapers said the deal will run according to Channel 4’s schedule between November and January. Previews of the week’s film will feature in the Guide supplement.
Channel 4’s line-up includes The Madness Of King George, Shallow Grave, Ladybird Ladybird, Backbeat, Death and the Maiden and Bhaji on the Beach.
