Q3 Rajar Figures: London Stations
Average hours listened to radio in the London region has fallen for the majority of the commercial radio stations. Sunrise Radio recorded the biggest fall, down by 47.28% in comparison to Rajar Quarter 3 1995. The actual hours listened to Sunrise Radio are 2.794 million for 1996 compared to 5.300 million in 1995, this is a fall of 2.506 million hours.
Of the stations that recorded increases in listenership, Spectrum International had the biggest percentage increase up by 64.18% on 1995 third quarter Rajar figures. The actual hours spent listening to Spectrum has increased from 413,000 in 1995 to 678,000 in 1996.

Weekly reach has also increased for only a few commercial stations, with LBC 1152MW having the highest percentage increase (8.2% up from 1995 figures). Premier Radio had the biggest decrease in reach, down 36.2% on 1995 figures.
