New Marketing Director For McCann-Erickson

Managing director Ben Langdon has appointed Amy Smith as marketing director at McCann-Erickson. She was previously new-business director at Simons Palmer Clemmow Johnson and replaces David Longman who recently left McCann’s.

This appointment is believed to be a small part of a wide-ranging overhaul of the agency which Langdon is planning to announce next week.

…Gruner & Jahr has a new group advertising director in the shape of Jessica Burley who joins from the National Magazine Company and the Telegraph has said that it will not be replacing Andy Jonesco who left as display ad director last week *TSMS Gets New Chief Exec. His responsibilities will be taken on by Len Sanderson who is the managing director of the Telegraph sales operation.
