CIA Medianetwork has declined to comment on press rumours that it has offered Laser a sum of around £1.8 million to settle the dispute over its sales agreements. Around £1m would be for money owed from 1995 and £800,000 for the amount expected to be outstanding for the year.
CIA did say however that early next week, possibly on Tuesday, it hopes to table an offer which will settle the matter “once and for all”.
