Channel 4’s comedy series Drop The Dead Donkey has proved that it is still a favourite with the viewers, appearing at number two on Channel 4’s Top Ten programmes list. The episode shown in the week ending October 27th attracted an audience of 4.27 million people and a consolidated share of viewing of 24%.

The second part of the final Prime Suspect managed to keep the same audience figures from the first episode. The episode shown on Monday October 21st attracted an average audience, before and after News At Ten, of 14.32 million.

Average television viewing for all individuals four plus for the week fell by 6.24% in comparison to the same week last year. In Astra Panel homes viewing of all channels also fell, this time by 5.5% on last year’s figures.
