Unofficial overnight figures for last night’s screening of ITV’s detective drama Inspector Morse show that it achieved a peak audience of 14.29 million viewers, with an average audience of 13.59 million between 8pm and 10pm.
BBC1 had How Do They Do That?,Points Of View, Nine O’Clock News, Budget Response and X-Files up against Morse and had a peak audience of 6.23 million between 8pm and 10pm.
