R&B Enter Joint Venture With Pilat

R&B and Pilat are forming a new company called Pilat Media, which will develop information systems for customers across the media and advertising industry. Products will consist of both off the shelf systems like NOMAD and commissions for bespoke developments

R&B, which supplies the media buying system NOMAD to the industry, and Pilat, an international management and information systems consultancy, hope that their partnership will provide cost effective systems to manage information in the media sector.

The first project for Pilat Media, which begins trading on September 1^st, is the launch of a new version of NOMAD. The company says it will be a Windows product that “provides buyers with rapid access to TV schedule information and will allow them to quickly administer an increasing number of TV channels”. A press administration system is also at the development stage.
