CLT UK Radio is to take a 20% stake in New Wave Broadcasting’ s bid to win an East Sussex area option licence. The licence covers the Brighton & Hove Albion area and will soon be advertised by the Radio Authority in September.
CLT, owners of Talk Radio and Atlantic 252, have a 20% stake in the South West London area option licence and are part of the East of England Broadcasting Company regional licence bid covering Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.
New Wave Broadcasting has been campaigning for a local radio licence in Sussex since the mid-eighties and has run RSL projects in the area which includes Brighton Festival FM.
