National Newspaper July ABCs

The latest ABCs for the national newspapers, released today, show the Times and the Daily Mail achieving the highest percentage increases against July 1995. The Times rose by 14.94% to 753,784, this is an increase in real terms of just under 100,000. The Daily Mail, whose circulation had receded slightly in June, rose by 14.35% to 2,069,348.

At the other end of the scale the largest drop in circulation was recorded by the Sunday Express, down by 12.6% (173,000) to 1,201,985.
