Supplements Focus on The Web
A survey analysing trends in IT broadsheet supplements has found that there is a tendency to focus on feature discussions, primarily on the Internet, rather than more technical issues. National broadsheet newspapers were selected for the survey because of their reach to senior businessmen who are thought to be less inclined to read more specialist material.

The articles surveyed in the supplements mainly covered the interests of businesses in the Internet. This reflects the growth in popularity of the Web for businesses in areas such as advertising and publishing.
