Channel 4’s decision to repeat Riverdance has proven to be a hit. The one and a half hour long programme featuring the popular Irish dance steps attracted an audience of 4.67 million, making it the most watched Channel 4 programme of the week.

This week’s top thirty programmes list features roughly the same programmes as last week, with the film Housesitter, drama serial The Bite and the Edinburgh Military Show the only new additions.

Viewing for all individuals for the week has risen by 1.93% when compared to the same week last year. In Astra Panel home viewing of all channels has risen by 3.7% on last year’s figures.
