TV Overnights: ITV1 banks a peak run at prime time

ITV1 dominated the prime time ratings from 7pm onwards last night with a peak run of Emmerdale, Coronation Street and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

An hour-long Emmerdale started the channel’s Thursday evening line-up, pulling in more than 8.1 million peak viewers and a 30.8% average audience share between 7pm and 8pm.

Coronation Street followed with 9.8 million peak viewers and a 36.9% average share, before I’m a Celeb attracted a high of more than 10.1 million viewers and a 34.1% share between 8.30pm and 10pm.

Over on BBC One, Have I Got News for You secured 4.6 million average viewers during the first half of the 9pm to 10pm peak-hour slot, while Live at the Apollo pulled in 3.8 million viewers during the second half.

Elsewhere, 1.7 million average viewers tuned in to BBC Two’s new three part series At Home with the Georgians between 9pm and 10pm.

At the same time, Channel 4’s Secret Millionaire Changed My Life documentary programme pulled in 1.3 million viewers and a 4.6% share, while Channel 5’s NCIS picked up 1.1 million viewers and a4.3% share.
