Smartphones outsell PCs for first time
Smartphone sales passed global PC sales for the first time in Q4 2010, according to International Data Corp.
Over 100 million smartphones were sold in the last three months of the year, up 87% year on year.
The boost in sales has been attributed to the popularity of Google’s Android operating system.
