ITV’s adaptation of Daniel Defoe’s Moll Flanders has proven to be a hit with the viewing public. 13.27 million people tuned in to watch the first episode in the four part adaptation, making it the eleventh most watched programme of the week.

The repeats of popular comedy series Only Fools And Horses have outperformed shows that are appearing for the first time. Over nine and half million people watched this week’s Only Fools And Horses (9.69) compared to: 9.60 million for Last Of The Summer Wine; 9.30 million for 2 Point 4 Children and 8.99 million for Thin Blue Line.

The decision to move You’ve Been Framed to 7pm, to accommodate Coronation Street’s Sunday episode, has had a dramatic effect on it viewing figures. In recent weeks the show had been gaining audiences of around 16 million, for this week however the show was watched by only 10.90 million.
