Border Acquires Sunderland Radio Station

Border TV has acquired Sun City 103.4 FM from Minster Sound Radio for around £1.7m *Border In Talks To Buy Radio Station..

The acquisition is however subject to a public interest test which will be carried out by the Radio Authority since Border TV already owns the North-East regional station Century Radio. Under cross media ownership rules any media owner which has two stations on the FM wavelength will automatically be subject to the test.
