Express Appointment
The Express has appointed Nicholas Rudd-Jones to the newly created post of commercial director. The move comes as the Express looks to sharpen its profile and refocus its marketing activity following its revamp in October.
Mr Rudd-Jones responsibilities will include shaping the newspaper’s business strategy, product development and heading the marketing circulation and personnel departments. He will work directly with Stephen Grabiner, chief executive at Express Newspapers.
The latest 6 monthly ABC figures show a fall of 44,152 copies compared to 1995 since the title’s revamp. The latest 6 monthly NRS figures also sees losses, this time by 121,000 readers when compared to 1995’s total.
