The Mirror Group’s Live TV cable channel will be rolled out to Manchester in March next year. L!ve has reached agreement with cable operator Nynex to broadcast regional L!ve programmes to the homes in its Manchester franchise.
Viewers in this area will be able to see 14 half hour slots which have been produced specifically for the region, with the remaining schedule broadcasting the L!ve national programmes which include Topless Darts and Lunchbox Volleyball. The channel currently broadcasts to London, Liverpool and Birmingham though these schedules do not contain “regional” programming.
