As the country gears up for the Champions League final at Wembley tomorrow night – a bigger TV audience than the Superbowl is expected – and next year’s Olympics, Media Playground will add a topical bonus session this year to discuss sport’s commercial place in the digital world – The Olympic Digital Debate.
The panel – to be chaired by Torin Douglas:
Richard Mansell is Managing Director (UK) and Global Head of Operations at myvideorights.com, a specialist distributor of digital entertainment. Founded by Ashley Mackenzie, it represents the commercial interests of producers and rights holders to digital video.
Jim Harrison is at the content end of the sporting food chain – as Head of Digital at Endemol Sport. He oversees the development of a wide range of interactivity for a number of football clubs and other sports rights holders, including the production and management of content for websites, social network communities, mobile, VOD, streaming and gaming.
Richard Brinkman is Head of KantarSport at Kantar Media UK, having previously occupied sponsorship roles at BBJ Media Services and Chrysalis Radio and a year as Commercial Director at Watford FC.
