4m Tune In To Gulliver’s Travels
Unofficial overnight figures show that Channel 4’s adaptation of Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels had an audience of over 4 million for each of its two episodes. This represents a 23% share of Sunday’s viewing and 21% of Monday’s viewing. This compares to ITV’s share of 20% on Sunday and 36% on Monday.
Not surprisingly children made up a large proportion of Gulliver’s Travels viewers: they had a TVR of 11 for Sunday’s showing (compared to ITV’s 4) and 10 for Monday’s (compared to ITV’s 7).
