CIA Profits Up 25% To £6.7m

CIA Group, Europe’s second largest independent media buyer, has announced record financial results for 1995.

Pre-tax profits were up 25% from 1994 hitting £6.7m and gross billings reached £904m, up 28%. There were also record new business gains with net annualised billings of £297m, which is over three times higher than 1994’s figure of £94m: new client gains included Deutsche Telekom, Olivetti, Calvin Klein, Wrangler and Lever Bros. Overall, turnover was up 30% to £606m and there will be a final dividend of 1.62p.

CIA has one of the world’s largest networks in its sector with 36 offices in 15 countries across Europe and Asia. UK operations are in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
