New Sales Staff At CLT UK Radio, MTV And Sky Magazine

CLT UK Radio Sales has announced a raft of senior sales appointments: Gary Perry joins from Classic FM as group head on Atlantic 252, while George McCracken joins as a sales executive on Atlantic from being group head at Mirror Group. Dina Subhani, currently a sales executive at CLT, is being promoted to group head of Atlantic alongside Perry.

Industry speculation suggests that the new wave of recruitment is in anticipation of a takeover bid for a rival station. A target for this interest is believed to be Virgin Radio.

…MTV Europe has appointed Elaine Luff to the position of account director within its advertising sales team. She was formerly marketing director of MediaCom.

…Sky TV Guide also announces that it has promoted senior sales executives Tim Hudson to agency sales group head and Emma Theobald to head of client sales. Debra Ezekiel also joins the team as head of direct marketing from Radio Times.
