Emmerdale Achieves Highest Figure In Past Two Years
Thursday night’s episode of Emmerdale attracted well over 13 million viewers, giving the show its highest viewing figure for the past two years.
According to live overnight BARB figures, 13.3 million viewers tuned in to see Frank Tate catch his wife Kim in flagrante with her lover Dave; this was a 55% share of the available audience.
Two years ago, in January 1994 Emmerdale gained live ratings of between 14.5 and 16 million for the shows which focused on the plane crash in the village, and well over 16 million for the consolidated figures.
