Emmerdale Beats Eastenders To Thursday Viewers
Emmerdale last night emerged as the victor in its hour long special pitched against BBC1’s Eastenders. According to unofficial overnights, Emmerdale attracted 13.3 million viewers, and a 54% share of the audience.
Eastenders, which was head-to-head with Emmerdale for its second half hour, attracted 9 million viewers, over 7 million viewers fewer than the previous Thursday.
Last night’s Emmerdale saw Kim move her toyboy lover into Home Farm – with husband Frank still there – and Mandy Dingle get involved in an all-female wrestling match.
