MAID has just announced that its shareholders have approved its takeover of rival information company Knight-Ridder (subscribers see Maid Acquisition To Go Ahead).
Completion of the deal, which will create a new company called the Dialog Corporation, is expected to take place on Friday 14 November. Shares in the new company will begin trading on that day.
