Newspaper Society Offloads Exhibitions Group

The Newspaper Society has announced that Newstech, the UK exhibition and conference for the newspaper industry, has been acquired by IIR Exhibitions.

The Society, which set Newstech up in 1970, says that it will maintain its long-term involvement in the exhibition’s development.

The next Newstech will take place, as scheduled, in April 1999, when it will be sponsored by the Newspaper Society
