Sunday Business Winding Up To Launch
The newly-staffed Sunday Business is geared up for a relaunch on 18 January, the day before editor-in-chief Andrew Neil is also set to relaunch The European in a magazine format. Neil and editor Jeff Randall have managed to recruit a substantial team in just three weeks.
The staff roster now stands at: Frank Kane, who will move from The Sunday Times when his contract expires, to become news and investigations editor; Ann Brady, currently at The Guardian will be the chief sub-editor; editor of The Questor column in The Daily Telegraph, Nils Pratley, will become City editor; Paul Murphy, markets reporter at The Guardian will be the stock market editor and Broadcast‘s Carl Franklin is to be innovations and IT editor.
The team is still recruiting and, staff restrictions permitting, Neil, Randall and chief executive Bert Hardy, will finalise the launch date next week.
