Mirror Group has won approval from Midland Independent Newspapers’ investors to take over the regional newspaper publisher.
The deal was cleared by the Department for Trade and Industry last month (subscribers see MIN/Mirror Deal Gets Go Ahead) and approval from MIN’s shareholders was the last hurdle to be cleared in the takeover process.
