The court case which will decide the legitimacy of the £670m four-year TV deal between the Premier League and BSkyB will be held in January 1999, it has emerged.
The Restrictive Practices Court is still considering the case which will be looking at whether the deal creates “significant restrictions on competition which are against the public interest”.
