Q3 Radio Revenue Grows 15%
The Radio Advertising Bureau has today announced that Quarter 3 radio revenue grew 15.3% year on year to £89.25 million – the highest ever quarter revenue figure. For the last full year total revenue reached £341m, a growth of 13.6%.
The net effect is that commercial radio has grown its share of the display marketplace to 4.8% for the year to June 1997. Of the Q3 total revenue figure, £38.6m came from local advertisers and £50.6m from national advertisers.
