UKOM has signed a new three year deal with comScore from 2013. The online media measurement company will end its current contract with The Nielsen Company.
comScore won the latest pitch following an industry consultation last year. A number of backers are believed to have favoured comScore for its ability to measure all devices and locations, including mobile.
However, UKOM will work with Nielsen for the remainder of 2012, developing its product, including the assessment of the new hybrid measurement system.
comScore president and chief Dr Magid Abraham said he was “delighted” with the news.
