Reed Elsevier is rumoured to be thinking of offloading its consumer magazine business IPC as part of a planned withdrawal away from the sector, according to a press report. The company is said to have contacted a leading City merchant banker to assess the feasibility of selling IPC.
A spokeswoman for Reed would not make any comment when Newsline rang to confirm the story.
