The Radio Authority is advertising a number of frequencies for local radio licences designed to provide small-scale services within Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
This is designed to encourage the development of localised radio services in areas other than the main cities where other services are based.
…The RA has now assumed responsibility for the frequency planning of restricted service licences from the Radiocommunications Agency. The RcA will continue to investigate interference-related matters which affect RSL operators, including ‘pirate’ broadcasts.
