Press Gazette reports today that the new Irish national newspaper, Ireland On Sunday, will be launched this weekend.
Incorporating the existing Sunday sports paper, The Title, the paper will be in three sections. According to the editor Liam Hayes, the paper will be “fresh, stylistic, contemporary and fast-moving.” It is backed by a consortium of Irish and American investors and aims to circulate at 50,000 in its first year, targeting the former Sunday Press market.
