SW: Agencies Support Ad Bans

The Swedish Association of Advertising Agencies has announced that it supports the Swedish Government’s ban on advertising to children, and will therefore back the Swedish Consumer Council’s campaign of trying to stop the television channel TV3 broadcasting to Sweden by means of a national boycott. The Association says that it canvassed its members on the issue; 90% have apparently agreed that advertising to children should not be allowed.
