Radio Revenue Reaches £78m In Q1
Figures released from the Radio Advertising Bureau show that revenue for commercial radio in the first quarter of 1997 reached £78m, the highest ever quarter figure which represents an increase of 15% year on year. This gives commercial radio a 4.7% share of display advertising expenditure for Quarter 1 1997. For the year to March 1997, £319m was spent on radio advertising which is a growth of 13.2% year on year.
